A BIT ABOUT MELYNIE
Solving puzzles has always been exciting to me. As a young woman, I loved the feeling of accomplishment that came after each piece found its place, and the picture revealed itself to me. With the passage of time, that curiosity and exploration has evolved into family history. With over 30 years of experience as a hobby genealogist, I received my Genealogical Research Certificate from Boston University in the Spring of 2023. I have researched for family, friends and high profile clients over the years and will adhere to the Genealogist's Code of Ethics, as established by the Board for Certification of Genealogists in Genealogy Standards.
MY RESUME
Areas of Expertise

UNITED STATES
Completed extensive research in the New England, Mid Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest Regions of the United States in various records available, such as censuses, land, probate, newspapers and vital records. Yet, I'm always willing to learn additional locations.

COMMONWEALTH OF UNITED KINGDOM
Experienced in England, Scotland, and French Canadian research in parish registers, newspapers and census records through use of their National Archives and several subscription memberships.

EUROPEAN
I have dabbled in Germany, Norway and limited Italian research, using parish registers, family books, and their national archive websites. Although I do not speak any of these languages, I have done enough research in these areas that I can read some genealogical records.
